Compression stockings and support stockings have graduated compression. The compression mentioned refers to the ankle and decreases gradually. On the calf there is about 70% of the compression and on the thigh about 40% which guarantee a right and good blood circulation.
Compression 8-11 mmHg
Light compression recommended to stimulate blood circulation of legs and to alleviate fatigue and exhaustion.
Compression 12-17 mmHg
Compression recommended for light circulatory disorders, varicose veins tendency and to pregnant women.
Compression 18-22 mmHg
Compression recommended for the therapy of light chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, swelling and to pregnant women.
Compression 22-27 mmHg Compression recommended for the therapy of venous insufficiency, varicose veins, oedema and phlebitis, for post-surgery therapy and thrombosis prevention.
